MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS!

Ever since the early 60's we have been going to celebrate Little Christmas at the Gergen's house at 20426 Kinzie Street in Chatsworth.  Jim & Dorothy like to say that once you are invited, your name is permanently moved to the "no invite needed" list. We always have such a good time visiting and catching up with old friends and seeing who has a new addition to their family.  

Last year Little Christmas fell on the day after Dad's funeral.  There was a definite heaviness in the air.  This year was only a little better.

HAPPY ENGAGEMENT CHRIS & JENN! 

Chris and Jenn announced their engagement tonight (with some help from Grandma!  ha ha  She spotted the ring on Jenn's hand and the rest as they say is Grandma's bragging rights!).  No date set yet but they have found their future in each other.  I am looking forward to a nice big family wedding - maybe after Chris graduates from USC at the end of the year with his master's degree in real estate development?  Congratulations to both of you!  You have given Grandma something to look forward to ~ she LOVES weddings!
